Who we are
Philly Sewer Line Guide (phillysewerline.com) is an independent guide run by Drzik Company LLC, 229 Lyceum Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19128. It is not affiliated with the City of Philadelphia or the Philadelphia Water Department. Questions: [email protected].
If you just read the guide
- We set no cookies and use no advertising or cross-site tracking.
- We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which Cloudflare describes as not using cookies or local storage and not fingerprinting visitors. It counts page views and page speed in aggregate.
- Our host, Cloudflare, processes basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
If you send a repair request
What we collect: your name, phone, email, property address and ZIP, whether you own or rent, the problem type, the date on your notice, whether your water is on, any details you type, and the plumbers you chose. If you tick the consent box, we also keep a consent record: the exact consent text you saw (with the plumber names and phone number), the version of that text, your typed signature, the date and time, and the technical details our form provider records with the submission (which may include your IP address).
Why: to pass your request to the plumbers you chose, to show those plumbers that you agreed to be contacted, to answer questions about your request, and to keep the service honest (for example, spotting spam).
Who we share it with:
- Only the plumbers you ticked. We never add a plumber after you send the request, and we never sell your details or share them for anyone's marketing.
- Service providers that handle data for us: Formspree (receives the form), our email provider (where requests arrive), and Cloudflare (hosting).
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
How long we keep it: request details for up to 12 months after your request; consent records for up to 5 years, because a plumber may need to show you agreed to be contacted.
Your choices
- Stop calls or texts: reply STOP to any text, tell the caller to stop, or email us and we'll pass it on to the plumbers you chose.
- Delete your request: email us and we'll delete it from our inbox and form account and ask the plumbers to delete their copy. We keep the consent record itself, and a note of your deletion request, for the period above.
- See or correct your data: email us.
Children
This site is for adults dealing with property repairs. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the version above. We won't use information you already sent in a new way without asking you.
